samsung blast
Hello Everyone,
On standby does everyones Samsung LE32R74BD (LE32R74BDX) make a light humming sort of noise? Also when I plug into the components input (5 RCA)from a Mico DVD pregon 1000 player the picture displays but displays in a sort of pink colour like one of the colours is missing. I've tried the cable on the AV inputs at the side of the TV to see if the cable was faulty but it displays a piture fine on all 5 RCA's. I got the cable from GAME. I tried the cable on a Cello Divx player also but that did not output anything. Anyone had any similar problems with this? Perhaps there is a chance my DVD players are faulty so I'll get a Playstation 2 to components this weekend to test that instead. Any help on this would be great.

------------ Ok, fixed the components - They were set to RBG instead of YUV. I did'nt know that you had to do that because its the first time i've used components. Also fixed the dvd player by letting the static out of the remote control so that I could access the setup menu and turn components on! (nice tip I found on here about a Samsung remote) ;) I see that other people have mentioned that there is a "wistling noise" on standby on other models but does anyone have the same TV as me with this problem? Recently I have also noticed that the screen kind of flashes when the camera angle changes - What causes this?
