free samsung t100 ringtones
Hi,
Think I know the answer to this, but I'm trying to get a definite yea or nay. I'm taking the plunge and buying a LCD tv and like the look of the LE26M51 but has the B got an integrated digital tuner that will pick up Freeview or will there be a LE26M51BD model out at some point? .
.
Thanks
Al ------------ [edited:] Indeed the description on the samsung site for the Samsung LE32M51B is a bit misleading! - I downloaded the manual and there is no mention of freeview sorry!
Best thing to do would be to double check by ringing samsung and asking a rep... ------------ Hi, first post..
Are you sure about the integrated Freeview tuner on the LE32M51B Azz?
I've read conflicting info, though I'd be very glad if you were right!
Does anyone know where, in the London area, I can see the LE32M51B in the flesh, as it were? Many thanks
...Just saw this from Samsung, regarding the LE32M51 digital tuner...
<em>"As for the freeview, the website states it has a digital tuner not a
freeview feature, this means it is of a better quality picture when
decoded and that the tuner is digital instead of analoge in order to compensate for future technologies in regards to signal systems."</em> ------------ Thanks for you replies, I've found the literature confusing on the tuner too. The Samsung website is, I think, just plain wrong at times. But I hadn't seen that comment from Samsung, which helps a lot. Makes it pretty clear what the tuner. Guess there might be a BD model out later with Freeview. Having said all that, I'm still tempted anyway, after all I would still need a HD freeview box later :-) ------------ I double checked and you guys are right I think! I downloaded the manual and there is no mention of freeview :(
Maybe someone should call them to let them know its misleading lol ------------ The samsung site is really bad. I got the LE32R41BDX yesterday with freeview but it was hit and miss with so many conflicts online. But yeah we will all need a HD STB in the future so I guess it is not a major issue but there is no excuse for samsung for bad product literature. ------------ I have been asking Samsung about the differences between Le26r51Bd and Le26m51Bd with the following responses, may be of some help to anyone considering to buy.
With regards to your recent enquiry. The differance between the le26m51b(d) and the Le26'r'41b(d) Is as follows: le26m51b(d) has a 8ms response time and theLe26'r'41b(d) has a 12ms response time. And the casing is differant All of the other specs are the same.
In reference to your enquiry the D on the end of any model only indicates the unit has a digital tuner (freeview). Other than that the
technical specifications to the B models are the same. The M range of units are black and have increased image quality as the m series is capable of displaying 6.4billion colours and has 10bit processing.
