Is it connected to your sky output or the TV output?

I thought that if its connected to the TV output, any bass/treble changes you make via the TV are outputted through the TV out....

No the DVD HTQ100 has the speakers directly connected and acts as an amp so the sounds is not delivered from the TV.

I have now connected SKYHD to the DVD SYstem via Optical Cable however there is still no adjustment and the Bass is still to excessive for normal everyday viewing. The only way I can resolve at the moment is to disconnect the sub-woofer.

Any clues or give in?!

ah right sorry, I though it was a sep surround system, duh!

In that case, if there is a way it must be via on board settings... nothing at all in the reference manual? Does the sub have a 'knob' on the back you can turn?

Generally subwoofers have a dial where you can adjust their input level... :)
