Hi there guys,

Just a quick question. I just replaced my R41 with an R74 series. In the R41 there was a setting to switch off the Dynamic contrast. It doesn't seem to be there in the R74 - is it possible to switch it off.

I don't know if anyone will agree with me but it the dynamic contrast is very annoying as it is constantly on the go - especially in dark scenes.

There is an option within the Engineer Service Menu:

On your remote press ?ower Off - Info - Menu - Mute - Power On?br />
(If You cant get it to work try doing it slower)

Your TV should TURN on with lots of purple Menu options if you did it right.

Now, Select Option 2 in the menu and press enter on your remote.

press down untill you reach ?ynamic Dimming?and press right untill it goes to OFF. Then just press the EXIT button on your remote to finalise the setting and finally turn your TV off then back on.

I prefer them ON though. When OFF, they start to show the artifacts on textures, especially on close ups, just like in other brands of LCD's I've seen.
