After a panel replacement, it was used for 4 hrs one evening for some video editing. The next morning it went on for the news and lasted 3 minutes. Then the display went off. At least it has come back worse than when it left me. I was able to video the fault this time in case "they cant find it"

Hopefully the local repair firm will get fed up and be unable to repair it.

The display is still on after 4 hours testing which is good. BUT they have trashed my VGA input in the process resulting in a blue cast when using a computer.

They cannot arrange a specific collection or delivery time but will deliver and collect from alternative addresses. They take a long time to answer the phone and admin staff have to ask the engineer for up to date information.
If samsung want to retain an AV professional they need to work a whole lot harder. There is no way I can recommend any samsung product at the moment.
------------ How old was it again? If it's less then a month or two I would insist on a new replacement... how about going back to the shop where you bought it.. they might swap it?
------------ Update - Should be collected by Micro P tommorow and credit note issued for replacement.
6 months from initial fault!!!!
Lessons for the samsung community
Always buy your goods from John Lewis from now on!! Their prices (now) are similar.
Never accept a repair
Keep your Lawyer Sister on standby just in case.
