LE32R41BDX - Time delay between changing channels

Hi All

I've recently purchased a Samsung LE32R41BDX, based on allthe good reviews and competitive price.
.

.

Overall its a great set. One aspect that I find very annoying however, is the delay when flicking between channels.

Is this a common "problem" with LCD TV's or is this a problem with the Sammy design?

Thanks

Marty
------------

If you use the up/down channel button it switches quicker... the reason it take so long to switch when pressing numbers say 1 or 4 is because the set can save around 100 channels it is giving you a delay in case you wanted to type in say channel 35, so once you press 3 it waits a bit to see if you press another number....

:)

If you want to speed things up, then pressing 035 will change the channel with no delay.

i.e. Enter three digits when changing channels...

When the TV is off...

Info -> Menu -> Mute -> Power On

...to go to the service-menu. You can change "Video Mute Time" to decrease the zap-delay.

Be aware that you can break your TV when changing the wrong settings.
Write down your settings if you change anything.
These setting are different for each Samsung, even if it's the same model!
Don't do a "reset". The settings in your TV are calibrated in the factory. Resetting will loose these settings.
