ive got a Le26R51DB set, after 4 months out of 1 st warrenty it is playing up.
i have looked at this site and others to find solution.

the fault: on av1, av2 either in RGB or composite video input, the pic blanks for a couple of secs quite a few time in a row and this dont really stop, also on analouge channels ( never digital channels) it will flash red ever other second.
thought i might have to get a new set or a hefty repair cost.
I do tv and vcr repairs too, so off came the back, armed with a can of freezer spray. after 1 hrs i found by freezing X4001 Crystal,SMT,14.31818MHz
i found it would clear, so frozen it quite a bit and the set ran great with back off for 20 mins the another 20 mins with back on until the temparture rose up. and the crystal start to go faulty again. so have now ordered from RS componets the part and will fit this week coming . only fit if you are compertant with a soldering iron ok.:)
