nokia n95 8gb freewareN95/nokia/ I got a bit excited when I found vimio, but it doesn't work. Seems a lot of people began seeing errors on the service back in Aug'07.
I fired off an email to them, but it's come back "undeliverable", so...
Just wondered if there's any other Live TV apps out there for the N95. .
. ------------ Yeah...
found one, but it in russian language...
cant do nothing with this! lol
lets search!! ------------ Searching! ------------ if you have a slingbox you can always download the slingbox player for the n95.
or if you have a TV tuner on your computer, you can use orb.com...works great for me. ------------ Aye. Thinking more for when I'm out and about though. I know what you mean, but I've got a few telly's in the house already. ------------ Mmm, now that would be something I would like.
Does anyone know what signal the N95 would be able to pick up? I'm assuming it would only be analogue and not digital, but I suppose that might not be the case. Am I hoping for the impossible here? ------------ I was aiming for the Internet stream, so coming in over WiFi, not actually using a tuner/decoder in the phone. This is how Vimio was supposed to work, and apparently did. But it seems to be offline now. ------------ ORB does the job. it can stream live anything from your home-pc. if you are able to receive tv/radio from there, you can use orb to reroute and re-encode these type of media (livetv, liveradio, any video and/or audio file) according to the "receiver" and to any dedicated and supported format and resolution for your client (symbian-devices in that case). it? a bit tricky, but just works like a charm. i wrote a short tut on how to do that on my blog some time ago. it? in german, but translation is available on top right. if you have any questions, just leave it there and i?l try to help..
