ringtones for samsung phones
Does HDMI have 'switching' capability like SCART (pin 8)? For example if a VCR or DVD is connected to a TV via SCART and a VHS tape/DVD disk is inserted into a player, the TV automatically switches to EXT (or AV) channel.

Does anyone know if this features exists in the HDMI standard?
------------ I always thought that the TV just switched the channel when a device was powered up... but what you say makes sense because thinking about it it only works when the VCR (connected via scart) is switched on...
As a guess then, I'd say HDMI doesn't have it :-/
